7311 Specialty Cakes
In addition to our selection of baked goods you will find at 7311 daily, we do bake cakes to order.
Our cakes are made from scratch, using quality butter, eggs, sour cream, and flour.
All our cakes have been developed by 7311’s bakers and are our take on the classics. If you are not familiar with our cakes, you may want to order a small cake to taste before your special event. We do require at least one week’s notice for these special occasion cakes. Ventnor 7311 is a small bakery, and we are very busy during the summer months (May through September) so if you know you have a special occasion coming up, place your order well in advance. To place your order please call the bakery at least one week in advance 609.246.7097. We ask that you please call orders in, we do not take cake orders online, through social media, or via email.
Our cakes are best served at room temperature. Refrigerated cakes need to come to room temperature, which takes one to two hours depending on the size before serving it.
Our six-inch cake serves approximately six to eight people, our eight-inch cake serves approximately ten to fifteen people and our ten-inch cake serves approximately twenty to thirty people.
Chocolate Three Layer Cake- Chocolate layer cake called “Tito’s Chocolate Cake” a light chocolate buttermilk cake with creamy mocha chocolate icing.
Yellow Vanilla Butter Three Layer Cake – Yellow butter cake layered with American butter cream (contains, butter, heavy cream, powdered sugar, & vanilla) Additional fillings available upon request.
Coconut Lemon Curd Cake Three Layer Cake – Yellow vanilla butter cake filled with lemon curd, finished off with American vanilla butter cream and toasted coconut.
Carrot Two Layer Cake – Carrot cake made with fresh carrots, pineapple, applesauce, cinnamon, and walnuts filled and finished off with cream cheese vanilla butter cream.
Cannoli Three Layer Cake – Yellow butter cake filled with homemade cannoli cream (ricotta, mascarpone, sugar, orange zest, pure vanilla extract, and mini chocolate chips) and finished off with vanilla butter cream.
Gluten Free and Vegan Two Layer Fudge Cake – Dense chocolate cake filled with vegan chocolate or vanilla butter cream.
Gluten Free Lemon Almond Ricotta Cake – Simple one layer lemon ricotta cake with toasted sliced almonds.
Fallen Chocolate Souffle Cake – Naturally gluten free, made with pure chocolate. This rustic cake can be filled with chocolate chip whipped cream or chocolate mouse and covered with chocolate ganache and finished with fresh fruit for an additional charge.
